Data Protection Statement
Protection of your private sphere is top priority at FTA. The technology on our homepages is always kept at the state of the art, as well as all security precautions. The information that you enter in the FTA online-shop is used exclusively for the execution of your order and, if necessary, for any questions to you. There is no trading at all with this information.
Credit cards & credit check
Your credit card information is not saved permanently. It is deleted at the end of the ordering process.
We reserve the right to perform a credit check. However, only your company name (your first and last name for private customers) as well as your address is forwarded to check your creditworthiness. We assure you that we comply with the Data Protection Act in this regard, and that the credit checking company will also treat your data in strict confidence.
When making an order, you enter sensitive data (address, credit card number, etc.) in the form. This data is transferred between your browser and the FTA Web shop over an encrypted connection.
We use an SSL transfer for this encryption. SSL is a secure transmission method for online data with the following benefits:
1. The server with which you exchange the data is identified using the SSL certificate.
2. The data exchange takes place over an encrypted connection that cannot be viewed by third parties.
3. SSL checks the connection for the integrity of the transferred data.
To ensure optimum security, it is advantageous to use an up-to-date browser version. Old browser versions do not correctly support the certificates that are used.
Cookies are usually used to facilitate the smooth operation of the shopping cart and for identification of the user while shopping or even when a site is called again. Your personal data, which you enter, is stored temporarily on the server side. A session is generated when you enter our website. It puts a cookie on your computer, which only contains a temporary identification number. After exiting the browser, the cookie is deleted.
